Namaste my friends and welcome to Back Roads of Upstate New York!  

   
 A few years ago I had a plan to make a coffee table book, The Back Roads of Up State New York.  I have done a fair bit of travelling and everyone I tell that I am from New York assumes I am from New York City, LET ME TELL YOU, where I live couldn't be further from the hustle and bustle of New York City.   I will be posting all kinds of nature pictures from the up state region not only because I love it here, but also because we are fighting hydraulic fracturing for natural gas that turns beautiful pristine country like this in to industrial wasteland.  I decided that since I have been taking a lot of nature pictures again lately this blog would be the next best option to a coffee table book.  I hope you all enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoy taking them.

I suppose I should start with some pictures from around my property so here we go!
